The big news at the University of Iowa is the recent vandalism that took place last week at one of our research lab buildings on campus. I do not condone these acts of protest.
The Daily Iowan reports, “An extremist animal-rights group known as the Animal Liberation Front claimed responsibility Thursday for the weekend vandalism of Spence Laboratories, including the destruction of animal laboratories and freeing of approximately 400 rats and mice from what it called the UI’s 'chamber of hell.'"
Now bear with me . . .
An extremist Christian group known as the United States claimed responsibility for a decade of destruction of Iraq, including the loss of 14,453 civilian lives and creating more violence, poverty, and chaos from what it called an “Axis of Evil.”
We report. You decipher.
In all honesty, I should make clear that I do not support the immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops in Iraq.
And, basically, the point of this posting was to link to Iraq Body Count.
